Through this secure app, you can ask a doctor your health-related questions directly, without the need to call an assistant. If in-practice care is necessary, the general practitioners at VanNoord practice are ready to assist you in this  hybrid healthcare model.

How does Gezond.nl work?

At Gezond.nl, online healthcare is the starting point. You receive the same quality and security as in a physical practice, but through a user-friendly and reliable app. This allows you to quickly contact a doctor and only visit the practice when it's truly necessary.

Chat or video call with a doctor via the app. If an in-person visit is recommended, you can schedule an appointment at vanNoord Direct in Huis vanNoord.

In addition to receiving care, you can also manage your healthcare through the app. You'll always have access to your medical records and can easily request a repeat prescription.

What does Gezond.nl cost?

The healthcare services provided by Gezond.nl are covered by health insurers.

Consultations with a doctor via chat or video call are reimbursed. However, referrals to a medical specialist, laboratory tests, and obtaining medication through the doctor fall under your deductible. This means you may need to pay these costs yourself unless you have already reached your deductible limit.

Who answers my questions in the app?

Our digital doctors from Gezond.nl answer your questions via chat or video call. They are all BIG-registered. Our team of doctors works together to provide you with the care you need.

What are the operating hours?

Online care (chatting and video calling):

  • Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

In-practice care (by appointment):

  • Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Will I always have the same GP?

Our team of GPs collaboratively manages your care. When you ask a question, the GP available at that moment will assist you. Our team consists of a small group of healthcare providers, each with access to your medical records during consultations. This ensures the GP is informed about your situation and can provide appropriate care.

Can I register my children and/or partner?

Absolutely! For each registration, you first log in with DigiD. Therefore, fill out a separate registration form for each person and have them log in with their own DigiD. For children under 14, parents or guardians can assist in applying for and using DigiD. Children aged 14 and older must apply for and use their own DigiD, as it is strictly personal from that age.

Can I unsubscribe if the concept doesn't suit me?

At vanNoord Direct, you can easily unsubscribe, just like with a regular general practitioner. When you register with another GP practice, they will handle the unsubscription process for you. You can also chat with us and let us know that you wish to unsubscribe.

Are my medical records secure?

Your medical records are visible only to you and the healthcare provider you're consulting with. By logging in with DigiD, we ensure your data is secure. Additionally, we adhere to privacy laws and regulations, specifically the Medical Treatment Contracts Act (WGBO) and the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG).
